Victoria on Career Coaching…
“In my clients’ cases, as well as in my own job change experiences, it’s been reassuring to know that there is a process you can follow in career transition. There are activities you can do to move you closer to the results you want. In a time that’s often confusing, stressful and demoralizing, with no guaranteed outcomes, that process – and a guide to take you through it – are invaluable.”
Victoria on Lawyers and Work Stress…
“Consider lawyers; a group of highly educated, extensively trained professionals aimed at finding, assessing and managing risk – for a living. Many working hours preoccupied with what could go wrong – and while this may be a lucrative and stimulating place to visit, it’s likely not where you want to live. Many of the activities in my Work Stress Coaching Program are based on the principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), which is another way of saying that I really believe much of the work stress we experience comes from our own thinking. Dwelling on stressful thoughts makes us more stressed. ”
Victoria on working with Lianne Krakauer…
“Lianne is a rare kind of professional – the sensibilities of a therapist, the critical thinking skills of a lawyer, the training of an executive coach and the track record of a successful entrepreneur – as you’d expect, it’s a powerful (and unusual) combination. I am so grateful to enjoy such easy and productive association with Lianne – our collaborations continue to propel us both forward, and our clients seem just as pleased as we are.”
